Great vision, terrible timing. 1.5 million government schools, many without basic toilets or qualified teachers. How do you implement 'coding from Class 6' there?
Reform has to start somewhere. NEP sets the direction. States can phase implementation. Karnataka, Tamil Nadu have already shown progress in higher ed restructuring.
Karnataka and Tamil Nadu have strong state infrastructure. What about UP, Bihar, Jharkhand? A one-size-fits-all policy ignores massive state-level disparities.
