The tracker shows ₹504 lakh spent with 42% progress. If this were a private contractor spending 42% of the budget for 42% of the work on a stalled project, they'd be blacklisted. Why does the government get a pass?

Because 42% spend for 42% work is actually proportional — that's not a red flag. The issue is timeline, not budget misuse. The contractor has laid pipes where clearance was given. The delay is in specific DMRC-controlled stretches.

Whether it's timeline or budget, the residents lose. And since this data is now public on the tracker, the government can't claim ignorance. They know. Inaction after knowing is accountability.

I'd rather see citizens use this tracker data to pressure their local MP — that's the right democratic lever. The MP for South West Delhi should be raising this in Parliament. That's what this platform should enable.
